1. Water is one of the most effective sources for losing weight. Drink around a half-gallon a day, more if you can. Water will give you energy and help speed your weight loss.

3. Count how many calories you eat in a normal day. (A) At the end of the day, add up the number of calories you consumed. Be as exact as possible. Once you add it all up, you know have the total number of calories you consumed daily. (B) Eat 500 calories LESS than you normally do. If you normally eat 3000 calories per day, then you would start eating 2500 calories per day.

4. STRENGTH TRAINING: Weightlifting is great for building muscles and losing weight. Muscles burn calories.

5. Cardio is an important part of weight loss. If you’re serious about losing weight, you will have to do both diet and exercise. Jogging, walking, swimming, bike riding, and aerobics classes are all form of cardio exercises.
To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consurme.
